Barn Cats

We recently reached out to Project Purr and the timing was perfect. They were trying to find a home for three feral kittens that had been picked up at a gas station in Watsonville. I thought it would be fun to have them around and really like the idea of barn cats as a natural solution for rodents, so I was as excited to get them. Project Purr was thankful that they could be saved. A true win-win. That's Zorro in the foreground, Lulu in the frame and Madeline "Matty" off hiding somewhere, as she's prone to do. They've been on patrol since January and although they're still young, we're seeing a drop-off in incidence of mouse visits, and as they grow, we expect the wood rats to stop coming by.
