Sunrise at the New Farm
One of our tenants at the new farm captured a snowing morning in a photo for us. They love it when it snows up there and were afraid they weren't going to get any this year. The photo is so pretty and captures the quiet beauty we're discovering up there.

It Begins at The Soil
For the most part, we have about 8 inches of loam over sand and soft sandstone. It's really well draining and not overly fertile - perfect for wine grapes. For best soil health, we're adding about 2% compost and horse manure as we prepare for planting. We may add more in the future, but it is our goal to never add any fertilizer. This will contribute to healthy soil microbiome, even plant growth and not pollute our environment. You can also see we have our vineyard posts in.
